Organization

The course lasts 10 months, totaling 136 hours. It will be conducted remotely (online) and consists of 23 Advanced Seminars (panel-style classes), held biweekly, with online debates between instructors and participants through appropriate platforms that provide direct communication, even at a distance.

The course is intended for professionals with higher education and students in the fields of health, diplomacy and international relations, human and social sciences, and related areas, as well as leaders from civil society who work or aim to work with global health and health diplomacy.

Through these Advanced Seminars, participants will be exposed to the systematic observation of the global health landscape, with analysis of the main political arenas of global and regional governance, global health governance, and organizations across geopolitical territories.

The Advanced Seminars in Global Health and Health Diplomacy are designed as panel-style classes, held biweekly, following the global political calendar throughout the year.

The panelists—leaders and global and national experts on the respective topics—will present cross-cutting themes of interest to global health and health cooperation, using the Zoom platform.
